Continuous Client Downhill

Not sure if it's just me, but the client just keeps getting worse and worse. When I first log in my friend categories are all mixed into one. When you hover over someones name its bugged and doesn't show anything. After about 5 games I need to restart my client because it lags like hell. Like come on Riot. You're a 21 billion dollar company. You can't pay anyone to fix this?
