I can't invite my unranked friend to Flex Queue beacuse I'm Platinum V in flex queue. Why did Riot add this as a feature? It worked fine before the update, but now i guess we can't play togheter anymore. The reason Flex was really fun to play was that you could acctually boost your friends a lot which is imo a good thing. Solo/Duo doesn't have to be like this but Flex Queue, what's the reason to play it if you can't play with your friends?

The idea of flex isn't to boost your friends (which isn't a good thing, since it makes matches unfair), but to be able to play with comparably ranked friends so you can climb ranked together.
Assuming they have any business whatsoever playing at a plat-ish elo, then they should be able to climb to gold fairly quickly after they finish placements, and then you'll be able to queue with them again.

Colgate Gator1 votesBecause if you duo with someone whose ranking is so much lower than yours, chances are that you're basically trolling your teammates by queing with someone who just isn't up for the job.
