Ping spiking every 30 seconds

I just got a new PC, and my ping is spiking to about 200 ms every 30 or so seconds while I'm playing League. I'm not 100% sure it's a League only issue as it's the only game I play and I can't notice it when I'm not playing, but I can't fix it and I'm getting desperate. Has anyone had a similar issue, possibly with a brand new PC? I've checked the obvious things like League being untrusted by my firewall etc. I've also tried two separate wifi sources so it doesn't seem to be that.

If you're playing on WiFi that's considered typical, even if it wasn't for your old PC. Test on a wire with two different PCs and two different wires (4 tests total). _It's critically important not to write-off any piece of equipment as good without testing it just because it was fine yesterday. _ If one PC or one wire solves the issue, then you already know where the problem is.

If all four tests repeat the issue you know the problem is at the network level, and you have to start swapping out networking equipment. If you've bought all new equipment, and can repeat the issue, then it's an internet problem, but your ISP probably won't believe you anyway.
