Reporting Should Not Be Automated

Just got a 10 game chat restriction for calling someone delusional after they spam pinged me for not ganking their lane. They later called me inbred, and told me to "fuck off retard" and they received no punishment. I was high honor before this and now I'm reset.

If the automated report system is so flawed that duo ques can get an individual punished just for arbitrarily clicking the report button, then this game is not for me.

After 2000+ hours in this game, this is it... I'm done. GG rito

Just went through the same thing. If you get reported by a duo and you said ANYTHING that game you're pretty much guaranteed a punish. Its disgusting. Its the same with the way the reports stack up from previous bullshit reports. The computer goes "people must be mad at this person, they probably did something" so it looks for any evidence of you talking back in those games basically. All those little reports from the idiots who get mad at you for no reason just add up

just going to throw this out there.. played for 5 years.. never had a ban or chat restriction of any kind... so i don't really think they system will punish you if u get a bunch of trolls reporting you

You can try posting over in player behaviour if you think the system is bugged and if it turns out it is tantram will probably fix it and restore your honour, but 99.99% of the time it just ends with "The system doesn't differentiate between 1 report and 9 reports, all it takes is 1 report to trigger a review. You were not punished for a duo reporting you, you were punished for your behavior. I can post your chat logs if you'd like to discuss it further?" and then if you consent chat logs tend to get posted and it's pretty clear the punishment was deserved.
