Ranked 3v3, the Unfair Ranked

As I write this post, i'm really salty from a game I did in a ranked 3v3.

Ranked 3v3, in his own, is nice. You can do ranked with friend on a somewhat fast pace gamemode. Yet, it is one, if not, the most unfair queue system in game.

Let me explain: my team and I are individually classified as Gold 5 or below (only 1 is Gold 5) in the current season or previous. As a team we're Silver 4 at the moment. We win some game and loose some. Like any game mode, we can do well or bad, being rekt or rekt. That is part of the game. Yet at some point, you'll always face something that would NEVER HAPPEN in the dynamic queue: Facing platinum and above. And it happens almost 1 game out of 3. Very often...

I mean we are SILVER NOT PLATINUM NOR DIAMOND and the team is SILVER, so why are we facing platinum/diamond so often? I know it's a mode that consider the whole team gameplay, but individually it's not fair. In dynamic queue, you CAN'T queue with people having 2 division above/below, so why can we in this game mode? I need some explaination....

(the game I lost that made me do this post was like this: us: 2 silver 5, 1 bronze 3 them: 2 diamond 5, 1 platinum 5)

I think that might just be a popularity problem. Given that TT is a much smaller portion of the player base. Also, because 3v3 is the only ranked option for TT, make it difficult to actually support the game mode on a competitive level.

Also, Ranked teams didn't really ever separate people of different skill level. Not even when we had 5v5. It's also possible that the platinum players just entered the 3v3 environment. (possibly because they were fed up with DQ) In which case, it would only take time for their actual team rank to reflect their yoloQ rank.

Personally, I think TT needed a DQ option, perhaps a little more than SR did.
