Hello forums, I'm new to this sort of stuff, and In League of Legends i never play Ranked, truth be told, I'm a Bronze 2. BUT, This Ranked season I wanted to go full out, I wanted to reach at least Diamond before Season 7;

Then Season 6 came out, and well, I feel like the game is not fun anymore.

But I'm not coming at you like "HURR THE GAME SUCKS CHANGE IT", no. Some stuff DID change for the better, but it's just not enough.

Here's what SEASON 6 means: META, META, META. And this might be old news for some of you;

"Well yeah, the Meta is something important in League of Legends, the Tank meta, the Juggernaut meta, what is strong is strong" And I would gladly agree with you, if not:

It is ONLY, META, META, META.

Seaosn 6 is nothing else, META, Let's pick the Jungle, as a Jungler, I hate this patch with a passion, Let's get champions item-dependant, if you have done some research on my IGN, I main Kha Zix, now Kha Zix is an Item-Dependant champion, which means:

"He's OK, but with some items he's BAM" But here's what happened:

> His main early game item, the power spike given by the Warrior Smite Item, is gone early game, you have to farm A LOT to get it in mid-game, and by then you're squishy AF and will be stomped on because you got no kills early on, since you had no items; > The new potions are useless, take it as you want, but I loath them, they don't heal for anything so it will most likely be that Kha Zix will die the first camp.

But this is getting out of the "objectivity" side of things, now I am just talking about my fav Champ.

Let's get back to the topic at hand, I made an example with Kha Zix being somewhat underpowered here, let's get a look to other junglers

Lee Sin, Nidalee, Elise, Rengar, Nocturne, these junglers, while being TOP tier in Season 5, now are GOD tier in Season 6, why?

Because META, META, META.

These champions were already extremely powerful, and since now the Jungle is somewhat harder to farm, now only the BEST junglers will be able to make a meaningful impact on the game, while other junglers now suffer and will become unplayable, if they are not already.

And this will repeat in every lane, Mid lane? I saw a fed Orianna die to a Talon in 1 second because he's just IN THE META, while being strong before, now he's as strong as Rengar, regardless of how much behind he is, one or two items and BAM, you're dead.

Is the META bad? No, heck no! Meta is something you can't stop, and will most likely change, the main problem, with my experience, is that now there is ONLY the META, there is no fillable Gap inbetween,

It's not about

Top Tier Good Tier Ok Tier Bad Tier

Now it's all about

META GOD Tier Anything Inferior Tier

For me this is not good, and It's not fun anymore

Question: what tier would you consider Sion as a support?

Anything with a reliable stun is fucking shit up in botlane, most Reworks mean now ADCs got INSANE burst, if you get stunned Graves will jump on you like a dog jumps on a turkey on thanksgiving; And this means we have the same problem in botlane, META

Graves, Kogmaw, Caitlyn, MF, -> Top Tier Meta Anything else -> fuck it

In the current Meta any support with a stun is best support

By this logic: Thresh and Blitzcrank are terrible supports for a lack of stuns and Pantheon is a great support because of his stun.

Thresh and Blitz both have a stun what are you talking about

Thresh's Hook is basically a Stun + Grab, and his Flail also is a small knockup, so used right you're not going anywhere for at least 3 seconds.

Blitzcrank has the same kit, his Hook is a Stun + Grab, more effective than thresh's but not so much of a stun, and his E is a Knockup, which also means stun, you're basically going to not do anything (unless Flash, or some reliable escape) for some seconds.

Pantheon is not a support, but in the right lane (which means a Premade botlane) even his stun can be useful, Imagine premade bot Graves + Pantheon.

That's nonsense. I play Taric support at Diamond level all the time and he's fine.

I also play Evelynn and do pretty well with her.

Have you read? Evelynn falls in the same category as the previously OP junglers, that now have become incredibly Useful because they can get kills early on.

Dafuq is that supposed to mean of course you're fine you're the SUPPORT you ain't goin' jungling you just have to hit your On-Click stun and the ADC will fuck shit up.

C'mon man I'm obviously not talking about supports, I'm talking about Midlane, Botlane (ADC), and Jungle, not even Top lane has been hit hard by these changes

Oh okay I get it, you're just whining.... because you did not mentioned Evelynn prior to my comment. Do not say "Have you read" when you wrote nothing of the sort.

What are you even arguing? I am telling you that I play a non top tier support and I do fine. This effectively contradict your core premise, it's not complicated.

You seem to whining for the sake of whining. There is nothing wrong with the game.
