Maybe you should have read what Riot said, and planned according to that. URF is being added to the rotating queue, and URF will not be happening on April 1st.

And? The OP not believing someone makes it the OP's fault when that someone was truthful. Riot doesn't make a habit of lying to us, so there really isn't a reason not to believe them.

They tried to pull the wool over our eyes last year with NURF, but outright saying no URF on April 1st is something else entirely.

It doesn't. I didn't make an assumption, and as such I'm not disappointed. I didn't schedule vacation days based on an assumption.
