Balance issues?

slight rant and I'll admit, I'm not sure what the answer is. Balancing a game is beyond complex...

I'm a fairly new player (level 16) and main Jinx and like playing as Jinx. I've tried other champs, nothing clicks. Now, granted, with a good support player Jinx is awesome but out of 150+ games I've had that 1 time. ONCE.

Most games consist of at least 1 level 30 player running around stealing kills, a total game time of 12 to 20 mins max and as you know, without support building jinx takes time (as do quite a few other chars).

Given the wide range of champs, I don't think Riot intended the game to be so out of balance in favor of individual, tank and high power players. And, for that matter, why are so many level 30 players running around in Beginner games? It really wrecks the fun for everyone else so why not allow players to choose a max level for their games?

I enjoy playing the game and given how new I am to it I apologize if I'm covering old / stale issues but it's really impacting something I otherwise enjoy. Right now I play a dozen games just to get the one or so that click. I think Riot could fix some of this?

Honestly, right now the game might be frustrating to play because:

A: The new mastery system HEAVILY favours higher level players while levelling up and B: The balance is all out of whack due to preseason.

If you stick to it until 30 (seems like a lot in your position, I know), things will get better, and you'll start to sync up with fresh 30's around level 25 or so.

Hang in there! I don't play on NA much at the moment, but balance is just generally in a really weird spot right now. There's a lot of games that tend to be huge stomps. And smurfing (level 30 players playing low level accounts) tends to happen more in the preseason.
