i duo with a shaco main and we win alot.. my question is.. why is he never played in very high elo. how do u counter him..

Most low Elo's never use these. Higher Elo's and pros are addicted to them like they're some sort of crack.

1Toby1 votessrsly i have just found my new tool for getting out of silver shaco is amazing the main reason why i think that really is his counter jungle potential 4 games in a row i did this go to my bottom side buff red or blue n start putting boxes at 0;57 get buff without smite get q run to the enemy jungle ward his buff WHILE he is taking it (that will make him be like .... im fucked) then q smite and take first blood

Rundus13 votesShaco's best counter is probably the player playing him. If you waste time, you fall behind and will have an awful time trying to get back up. If you are too ballsy you'll get creamed and set back (q diving enemies with full health...). If you are too passive you get no kills and nothing gets done. Shaco can outplay most junglers if he's good enough, but it's hard to be THAT good. I see Shacos all the time. I see them outclass people, and I see them feed. He's decently item dependent to function (pre-tiamat kills are hard to get... really hard), but can contend with most junglers if he goes about it right. You gotta remember, you are controlling Shaco, but he's still the one who decided what tricks you get, and he has provided the tricks needed to succeed. One must simply learn to use those tricks to the best of their abilities so they might win.

ArkangelHFB plays one Hell of a Shaco, too. He was 12th best Shaco NA last season.
