Won 7 out of 10 Placement games and it put me in Bronze 5 with 0 LP. Wow talking about being upset!

So im totally confused as to why Im in the lowest of Lows after winning 7 and losing only 3 games in placements. Like i almost won all 10 matches and i didn't even make silver. How can that be? Its like i Lost all 10 matches, and now i have to start from the bottom. Why did i even play the placements if i was gonna be put in the last spot, Bronze 5 . I am actually not happy with this at all, and the last 2 matches of my placements i got roles i didn't wanna play because riot switch the game back to the old Champion select and i wasn't bale to choose my role. So i was 7 and 1 going into the last 2 games and lost them with the help of not getting the role i wanted to play to help my team. This has to be a bug and would like to see if Riot game can look into fixing my Elo. I didnt even get Bronze 4 and i won 7 games.

That means your MMR b4 was Bronze level.

If you honestly find it outrageoud then you should find ease climbing ot at least averaging a decent kda.

I know it's based on MMR and your elo and what not but still,

I was bronze 2 end of last season pre season fluctuated between bronze 1 and bronze 4... ended pre season in bronze 3 while in promo's to bronze 2... Placement matches 8 wins 2 losses Bronze 5....RiotPlz!

I kinda see his frustration tho.

What's the point of making him do his placements matches if he's bound to be in bronze 5 anyway.... with those 7 wins he could have got to bronze 4.

There are tons and tons of people in bronze, and feel how you do, but at least you are winning :-)

I was silver 2 last season went 8/2 this season ended in b5 as well.

But the real question is what was your MMR and rank before the reset? If you had a bronze 5 MMR it doesn't matter if you went 10/10 you're getting placed in b5.

it's called soft reset for a reason, basically the system takes your current MMR and lowers it a bit in order to challenge you to get back where you were, since you ended up in bronze something last season it's only natural that you're gonna loose some ranks, hence, bronze 5.

This is not to mention that people on higher MMR will get set back even further, meaning that platinum 5 people is gonna probably end up in Gold 3 and Diamond 1 is probably gonna end up in Platinum 1.

ok so lets put this easiest way i can. You are bronze a BRONZE player if this is your 2nd or 3rd season it means you have not learn anything you still same sh@t as last year and year before so stop complaining how bad your teammates are the reason you lose is because by part is your fault. Stop watching players like trick gosu etc and think you can do the same you wont learn anything from them, their play style is only working out form them find duo partner and play adc/support together. learn support morgana/thresh/leo best carries in imo good luck bronzies I was plat 5 preseason i be gold 3 or 4 after placements for sure but that is fine its going to take me 20 wins to get back in plat i have learned how to support and carry out games form bot lane i recommend you to do the same
