Terrible Ranked System.

This is my first season playing ranked. I was placed into Gold IV. Not bad, not great. Good, I'd like to say, but nothing spectacular. I've played 25 games in total, losing 14 and winning 11. My match history is as follows: 7/7/2 7/6/9 18/2/12 11/2/0 9/4/6 0/6/14 (support)

Those are my past 6 games. All pretty decent. I lost all of those, due to my team falling behind. Therefore, I lost LP. Ergo, I got deranked to Gold V. I don't understand a system where players have to be punished and dis-encouraged to keep playing, because of their teammates. Yeah, I'm salty. I was really determined to work my way into Platinum. But now that I have been deranked because of other players' faults, and am under threat of being pushed into Silver, I don't even want to play anymore. So please, someone try to begin to make me understand the terrible ranked system this game has. Cause to me it seems like banging my head on a wall.

You must first realize you are terrible. Once you accept how terrible you are, you can improve.

Yes it does. Once you mentally realize that you do NOT "deserve" any win but rather EARN them, and that you are not earning them, you will start to play to improve instead of play to win, and do better.

If you still haven't figured out that KDA is meaningless, you deserve far lower than Gold V. That's just truth about this game.

I never said my KDA meant everything. But it helps show that I myself do well.

But you don't. Even if we do take them as evidence, it still doesn't paint a favorable picture; It doesn't show that you do well

Like you have 7/7/2; six or seven deaths is still "too many" from what anyone would want and it's the same amount as the rest of your team who you are blaming. And when you are 18/2, if you are that fed and have that much influence over the game, that means the loss IS your fault.

And lying to people, trying to pass your poor performance off as "support" while trying to blame the system for it really just...

LOL WHAT. I said decent, and well. Never said I'm an amazing player. Even if you are fed, you can't carry a team of afkers, bickering 10 year olds and feeders. It's not feasible. And I didn't lie, and it's not fair for you to assume so, when you don't even know me. Thanks tho!

you did lie, the 0/6/14 game you were not a support, unless you call vlad with TP and Flash and no sightstone a support...

10 minutes in I was 0-2. After that I focused on keeping our adc alive. That was all.

sounds to me like someone doesn't know how to consolidate their gold leads in to actual game wins

yeah, it really is.

if you get fed, the onus is on you to carry. if you can't rotate effectively, position correctly and focus priority targets with your gold lead then you will lose the game since the rest of your team is lagging behind.

Lol the thing about a team is everyone has to rely on eachother. Like I said before, it's not that feasible to carry a team of bickering 10 year olds, feeders and afkers.

Have you thought about the impossible task of developing an AI that would assess your strength per game?

I lost nine of ten pre-rank matches, and began in bronze 1. Half of those games were surrendered because of chat fighting. Half were losses because of others going /afk due to my pick or build. Two games were thrown by the same intentional feeder who claimed to want to start at the lowest possible rank. Three were legitimate losses. Now, did I deserve to start in bronze 1? Here is a better question. Why should any of the millions of players care about my ten games?

I asked someone to make me understand how this system works. Forums are here for a reason. I intend to utilize them how I see fit. Don't have something nice to say, don't say it. Thanks tho.
