High/Normal MMR, Low LP Gains?

Hello, so I'm having a problem. I have been playing ranked, was in gold 5. went on a losing streak and ended up in silver one but then I went back on a winning streak into gold 5 again, now sitting at 40 LP. MMR according to OP.GG is Gold 4 and I checked my win percentage in ranked and its 52% with 116 wins and 109 losses. Yet, every game no matter how much I win, I keep continuing to get 14-16 lp for a win, and 21-23 for a loss. My buddy who is in G4, gains 22lp for wins and has normal mmr so what is going on? Someone help cause this is very frustrating and its making it IMPOSSIBLE to rank up. Basically I have to win 2 games for every 1 loss :D

op.gg is very innacurate unfortunately the is no known accurate site

MMR from third-party sites is an approximation based on stats that the site deems valuable (and stats that the site has access to). Nobody actually knows how riot's MMR system works.

To add, in matches im paired with silver 2, silver 1, Gold V, Gold 4, and Gold 3 players.

It says my MMR is below my rank but then I skipped Gold 4 and went straight to G3 after finishing promos here. On my fresh alt I was placed S3, went straight to gold and faced G2-P4 players in my promo from silver to gold and didnt skip, just went to G5.
