I was curious. I know about Ekko being a competent Mid laner and Jungler, but i was wondering about other champs too.
Because some champs are forced to play a specific role (Sona for support for example) so i thought about trying a champion that's capable and flexible to be in more than one role.

probably missing a lot but i cgaf after listing this many. and there's probably people out there playing jgl irelia and talon so anything is possible.
Shen
She can be played Top, Mid, Support, Adc, and Jungle ( if you are in lower elo)
Tops shes great at easy gank set ups and her clear is great to split push and keep people under towers for ganks.
Mid she is able to mitigate a lot of ap damage and her push is insane. She is also great at moving up and down getting skuttles and out of the river sudden ganks.
Adc After she gets pool two she is able to out farm most adc's and bully her lane as a support her Q is just terrific at saving your adc and also setting up kills.
as a jungler - hmm her initial clear is slow but after you get pool lvl 2.. then her clear is just terrific, and her objective control is pretty solid on dragons and skuttles.
you can play him at any role and you'll be just fine.

Honestly ANY champ can be played at ANY Role, this is why meta shifts happen alot and we see things we never seen before sometimes like When Annie first went support when everyone thought mages support were troll. It's all a matter of how you play in each role / knowing your capability of the champ and what they can and cant do and adjust for those.
Now im not saying that every champ is OPTIMAL in every role, but you can defiantly play any champ any were with success (the jungle might be the only place certain champs are not viable ) but for the 3 lanes you can do anything, bot lane has a lot of potential with kill lanes and mid and top depending on matchups you can take champs that normally wouldn't go good there. Sometimes the best strat is the out side the box picks, because there is just too much stuff going on all the time for everything to have been tried right.

These are all common enough, but where a champion goes can depend heavily on the match up and meta. For example, you can lock Yasuo ADC, but if you go against a something like a Senna/Nami, you lose, so you don't want to do that.
She has a steep learning curve but she is great in midlane and good in toplane when you get far enough.

Jungle and top, although the latter is unorthodox is truly does work well enough if you learn it from what i´ve heard.

Might have been overnerfed or he is like Irelia but his kit makes him work in both toplane and jungle when alright.

most sololane champs can go either mid or top if the matchup fits. most mages are actually decent bot as either carry(casio, victor, vlad...) or support(brand, vel, lux....) Most adc can do well in a sololane However, for all 'off roles', the main issue is the overall composition. Toplaners can tell you that vayne is perfectly capable of bulling any melee 1v1 in lane at prettymuch any point in the game. But she still tends to loose games cause her team lacks beef and/or CC and simply gets run down in teamfights, while she is to vulnerable to ganks to bring it home with splitpushing alone.
As far as jungle/sololane goes, there are not that many left, it used to be alot more.
It also depends on what elo you play. If your good at a champ, you can make it work in about every role in lower elos. At high elos, you eventually reach a point where everyone is good at the champ they play so you can't compensate a sub optimal pick through skill anymore
Nocturne: I've had success with him mid, top and jungle, even though I hate jungle and am not good at it. Mundo: if you hit enough cleavers, he's a competent support

Just learn any mage with hard CC. They can go top mid or support.
