A solution to excess IP end game accounts

Since we're all aware that excess IP becomes a problem for many veteran players, many of the players have come up with idea like IP to RP conversion, etc.

Now what if we had the option to rent a skin at the cost of IP for 1 week? 1 day? 1 match? Where the cost scales similarly to the price of the skin. This way players wanting to buy a skin, whether they are new or old, can preview a skin and have that premium experience of a skin in game without having to spend a refund token or contact Riot if there aren't satisfied with a real purchase. It would also solve the end game account from having a hoarded load of IP for the next champion months to come.
