This is after a game of aram. I'm incredibly confused as to how it measures true damage.

I played Vel'koz. That true damage number looks pretty darn accurate for any vel'koz. But where is all the other true damage coming from?

How did Ziggs do 15k true damage? Nothing on his kit gives true damage, unless the damage from his passive on buildings counts as true damage, but that makes no sense at all.

How did nautilus do 6.5k true damage? NOTHING he has does true damage and he didn't take ignite.

Darius I get where his true damage is coming from: His ult.

But gangplank shouldn't be doing any true damage, not even ignite should have let him do 2.5k true damage

Where the heck are you getting these numbers from riot? Even the death recap says that true damage is dealt as a final blow on champions who literally have no source of true damage: Like minions.

GP's passive on his melee attacks is true damage.

the numbers you get are the numbers Riot decides to give you don't forget who you're talking about.

And if Riot decides Ziggs did 15k true damage in that game, that's just that.

And if Riot decides you did no damage because you did not supplicate, That's Just That.

I wish I could see builds for this. Best guess? Its looking for "Unmitigated damage". That could include: Pen or shred amplified damage, executes (Ziggs on tower, maybe Naut on minions via Relic shield?), plus Elixir of Sorcery and other natural damage abilities. True Damage to Champions would probably be a clearer number (the image shows True Damage Dealt [to anything])
