Yasuo.. windwall --> slip stream mechanic ?

After all this time, people maintain Yasuo's Windwall is problematic and should be addressed.

Instead of the current ability why not give him a slip stream mechanic something similar to Kled. Whereby Yasuo can gain increased movespeed to dodge or retreat to safety. This would eliminate the error of positioning or entirely negating an enemy's efforts to attack him.

Thoughts?

Isn't that the point of his dash? Yasuo is mobile enough.

What they need to do to Yasuo is make it so that his Windwall doesn't linger on the ground at tall, but have the cooldown get drastically lower as he ranks it up. He could still block key enemy cooldowns, but he couldn't hide inside it or give his teammates an advantage in teamfights. His early game would be weaker (where he's supposed to be weak), but in the late game, he could block multiple projectiles in a single fight.

Wouldn't that make him even stronger against champions that try to poke, who he already counters because of his passive shield?

No, because it would have the same cooldown at early ranks, and he needs to max Q first in order to function. He'd probably start maxing Windwall second, but even then, the first few minutes of the game would be worse for him. Baiting his Windwall wouldn't give him a few moments of safety to build up a new shield while the wall protects him. He'd destroy your projectile, then be just as exposed as before.

He would be more vulnerable in the early game, but would be stronger in the late game as long as he can land Windwalls appropriately.

Why would his windwall be problematic? its just a wall that blocks abilities with a long CD. And easily baited.

because it would be giving him the same W as jayce cannon form. Or if you mean more ways to gap close than definitely not, yasuo really doesnt need more mobility.
