from what i have been seeing since the change of thornmail is that it's going to mess with melee dps heal heavy champs but i don't think it's going to effect much because just think they said 
was going to be the death of healing champs yet i'm usually facepalming when i don't see my adc build it against a raka and whatever adc she has that's building lifesteal

I doubt it, honestly. What people buy thornmail for isnt to apply things, its usually to clear a little better. I know when i proxy rammus the entire reason i buy it is because when combined with my W i can proxy cannon waves without taking much damage.
SchmidttyGames1 votesNew Thorns is 25+10% Bonus Armor magic damage + GW every time you get hit by a physical attack. With 25 armor on top of that, it's an epic early trading item for tankers at 900 gold. It'll show up on the annoying ones that want to get hit. Rammus, Galio, ect.
