Riot are y'all going to buff athene's any time soon? I don't understand how you have managed to ignore how bad this item is for so long.

What's so bad about it? It's basically like a Sword of the Occult 
or Mejai's Soulstealer 
, in the sense that getting more kills and assists without dying makes it far more efficient, but still more efficient than them with zero kills/assists; it was the go-to AP mana item for most champions for all of Season 4 at least, only recently being replaced by Morellonomicon 
because the higher efficiency without any kills/assists with the change to all mana regen items.
Idk how you're saying it was bad for "so long" when it was a staple item before the changes.
I think Riot's silent response to this so far is "We give no fucks!"
