How Do Grades Work?????

Today i played a game and i was disappointed when i received my grading for a game. I got an A+ for what i think should at least have been an S-. I played a game in which i got a score of 26/4/7 and i basically carried the team and at one point i got a penta kill as well. In that game i was playing as master Yi.

Another instance is when i played a game with fizz and i carried again with 21/2/14 and i got an A+ again. I was really confused when an Aurelion sol player on my team in the same game got an S- with a score of 7/2/15.

I was just wondering how the Grading system works. Do different champions impact your grade? your lvl? mastery points on champion? time played on champion? Or does Riot need to fix the system because it is not working properly?

I would much appreciate an answer. Thank You

I think it has to do with kill participation. With your 26/4/7 on Yi, you were at a mere 54% kill participation and that is actually not S grade worthy. This shows that you were only impacting about half of the game.

Not from any accurate source or documentation, but I think the grading system takes into consideration of your kill participation, warding amount, CS etc.
