Monday 27th (November 2017) I bought 2 chromas with BE (Pink pool party Zac and Pink rocket girl Tristana). I wanted to buy another today but ALL of the chromas only have an RP cost. Is it just me or are Rito trying to pull one over on us before Christmas? Is anyone else experiencing this? Because the BE shop is trash and the chromas are the only decent(ish) thing to buy with BE...
Laughing Fish3 votesThis number of Chromas available at once for BE was part of a special promotion with the "Blue Essence Shop", and that promotion has ended.
But don't worry, every 6 months a special shop opens where chromas older than 5 months old became purchasable with BE. In between, they have to be purchased with RP. Which Chromas are available to purchase vary each time, so that every Chroma goes on sale once a year.
More information about how Chromas work, including pricing/sales/etc. can be found on the Chromas Packs FAQ page by Riot Support.
Sukishoo2 votesThe BE shop ended on the 27th. So, it's now past that day, thus all of them have returned to their RP only costs.
Durzaka1 votesThe BE shop was temporary only to get people to burn their massive amounts of BE from the conversion from IP.
Its gone and we have no idea when it will be back, but not likely any time soon.
GUY4KS1 votesAaaah... I see. Cheers for the replies you guys! It's a shame it's not a permanent thing. Just glad i picked up those two chromas when I did! It's a shame the shop couldn't hang around for Christmas for good will and all that but guess just gonna have to twiddle my thumbs until next time! Cheers again ;)
