people flame and report support all day long

Hello. So, my main role is support and now im gold 3, i don't play intensively ( i think i have played 80 games this season ) on ranking cause its not funny, but when i do, i try to win and play my best. What i have learn from this games? I get flamed, reported, insulted, wishing me to die in horrible ways. Why? Because i cant ward every corner and inch from this map, because i don't do all the work for adc, letting the opponent with 100 hp he just to do aa and gj adc, because support are useless, they don't do nothing, no shield, no cc, no heal/exhaust, because u exist and u steal the xp from adc and so on.

So, im crazy enough to not believe those or they are right ?

Welcome to the life of a support main. We try so hard, but get no credit for our effort.

Oh trust me it's not only in Gold. I could lie and say all games in higher ELO are understanding and reasonable, but nah. As soon as you/your team shows sign of throwing, some inconsiderable jerk's gonna react like the end of the world.

Though I'll say this, every time there's a flame/blame outburst, it's most likely shared between both blamer and blamee (if you place yourself under one's perspective). No one is "absolutely innocent" in my book, it's the skill of communication needed to resolve whatever frustration there is. So instead of like "stupid f*cks giving me cancer the way you threw this game", maybe they could've reached to you like "we're throwing so hard, please watch positioning, etc."

They are wrong. At best support can effectively ward 1/4 of the map. Warding is a TEAM effort. Check your ward stats on lolking.net. I strive for 1 ward per game minute (but rarely get past 1/2 ward per minute because we are skrimishing all the time.) if you are satisfied with your ward stats, then gtg.

As for toxicity... Mute, report, move on.

I try a lot to ward in the moments when my adc is not pushed or has a wrong position, cause a lot when I leaved for 15 seconds, my adc died, blaming me for all his mistakes, result, " gg, report".

Other point of view, i play lulu, lests ay i do 1 Q 1 AA, polimorf, 2 AA shield my adc, wait.....the adc is behind me farming 2 minions left from wave. Its so frustrating.....

Yea, you have to time your wards.. Also, you can always let your ADC know you are gone warding. Shouldn't be a big problem during laning phase. On the bottom side, I am warding the tri to the tower, dragon area and possibly the brush in lane. Top it is mostly dragon and the in lane brush till our tower goes away. Also, you can try to drop some wards when your ADC is in base. But really... your mileage will vary with the ADC. Just accept that.

It can be hard co-ordinating with your ADC in YOLO Q. Maybe let your ADC take the lead. Some are more agressive poking. Some prefer to farm. Or just poke and let it be if you are on a poke champ.

i literally dont remember the last time i was flamed as a support main besides when we lose a teamfight and the salts start asking for impossible wards,
