Remake feature improvements

I was recently in a ranked game that should have been eligible for remake but, according to a gm, isn't. As far as we saw, our jungler never connected to the game but yet we were never allowed to remake. When talking to the gm, they stated the person did connect, but then disco'd shortly after the 2min mark (player never moved, purchased, etc), meaning they would not be disco'd for 90s before the 3min cut-off and as such we were not allowed to remake the game. We inevitably lost, as one expects, after 30min, wasting tons of time for everyone (though I would guess the winning team wasn't overly upset, also the time was because 2 people felt we could prevail as we were even in kills for awhile, but no where near in objectives).

I understand the room for abuse if the time table is too big, but why not make it if the person disco's at all before 3min, then stays disco'd for the 90s, we are then eligible for a remake? A minute and a half window is minuscule. Thanks, Bash

I think that not giving players the remake vote option automatically was a mistake. Players are often confused about when a remake option is actually available and when it is not. It's lack of clarity. Moreover, if you don't watch the clock like a hawk (and thereby punish your ability to play the early game), you can miss the remake window... too bad for you I guess.

Meanwhile, players can spam surrender votes in the late game and we have no way of stopping the pop up from appearing on the HUD despite the fact that the vote is utterly pointless trolling.

Designer priorities? :/
