Sweet jesus please fix the matchmaking system

too many times i have played in a ranked game where either im matched up with people that are not at my skill level, they go afk, they dc, or they troll. i understand that it would be impossible to get rid of those problems for good, but can you at least make it easier for people that are soloing or duoing to actually play a game without worrying about getting matched up with a troll or having somebody go afk/dc. like cant you make it so that the team with the afk gets a loss prevention or something? can you make the matchmaking system match people based on their play style? not just mmr or elo. what happens when you get into a rut? you cant climb out anymore because riot made it impossible to dig yourself out because your in elo hell

I got a new one for you, I just played a ranked game and it registered as a normal. I even went through pick and ban phase and after I won the game the interface for picking Queue even had "Ranked Solo/Duo" hi-lighted.

oops i forgot about that one too... that has happened to me once and we won the game too. i was so salty too because i would have one my promos if that game counted as a ranked game

Same here except it was the deciding match (was 1 loss and 1 win in my promos) and then i lost the next match i went into and that one counted, gotta love it.

It appears that you ragequit out of your last game.

You might want to fix your attitude before asking Riot to "fix" matchmaking.

It'd be amazing if there was a system that would detect and pre-emptively ban players before they commit an offense, but we're not there yet. We still need to rely on things like prevention and punishment.

i didnt rage quit at all actually. we lost because vayne was having internet problems...

Vayne with internet problems had 3x your cs, 1.5K Gold and a level up on you.

I'd rather have someone lagging than someone who gives up early.

yes usually the adc has more cs than the support. i was supporting with cass because blitzcrank went mid for some reason

Well maybe Blitz wanted to go mid. If he wasn't last pick, and called it (sounds like he didn't, but still pick order > call order), then why not? I've seen mid Blitz win lane, they don't always have to support.

So were you last pick and thought you had mid? Or was he last pick and decided to go mid with Blitzcrank without telling you?

he had pick order over me. whitch is fine, my problem is that he told nobody he was mid until after i locked in. plus ive never seen a blitz do good against an ahri before. like you cant trade against her with him

The only weakness I can see is that in order to land her charm, she needs to have a clear shot without minions... just like a Blitz grab. But like she'd let that happen.

I can only see Blitz going top or maybe jungle with trailblazer.
