Sweet jesus please fix the matchmaking system

too many times i have played in a ranked game where either im matched up with people that are not at my skill level, they go afk, they dc, or they troll. i understand that it would be impossible to get rid of those problems for good, but can you at least make it easier for people that are soloing or duoing to actually play a game without worrying about getting matched up with a troll or having somebody go afk/dc. like cant you make it so that the team with the afk gets a loss prevention or something? can you make the matchmaking system match people based on their play style? not just mmr or elo. what happens when you get into a rut? you cant climb out anymore because riot made it impossible to dig yourself out because your in elo hell

I got a new one for you, I just played a ranked game and it registered as a normal. I even went through pick and ban phase and after I won the game the interface for picking Queue even had "Ranked Solo/Duo" hi-lighted.

It appears that you ragequit out of your last game.

You might want to fix your attitude before asking Riot to "fix" matchmaking.

It'd be amazing if there was a system that would detect and pre-emptively ban players before they commit an offense, but we're not there yet. We still need to rely on things like prevention and punishment.
