item 3060 is extremely underrated. It's great for pushing lanes and offers all around good stats and a small gold income.

item 3050 isn't popular because the support that would be building it doesn't benefit from it. Supports tend to be AP poke/sustain mages or tanks, neither of which would benefit from the item 1053 that builds into it or the end result. The only time it's justifiably built is in an AD heavy team comp or if you're an off-meta AD support (LeeSin JarvanIV Gangplank )

I sometimes pick item 3050 on AD champs in place of item 3071 if there is another champ going for cleaver.

But generally it feels a bit underpowered.

item 3060 is sooooo much fun since they doubled the item cooldown reduction from 10% to 20%. It can push a lane pretty well on it's own, allowing you to give some extra pressure separate from the team when you're pushing out.

You simply MUST glance over at it when an AP enemy tries to kill it. I giggle Every. Single. Time.

I only play AP supports and AP Tanks Botlane and I always build a Banner. It helps a lot.

It only has 10% cdr. I build it a lot check the wiki

He's talking about the utility mastery that reduces the cooldown on actives.

banner is quite nice imo. the farm it gives is significant. but its mostly for a champion that can put the extra ap to good use. its good on apish fighter which there are few of. say Poppy got buffed itd be good on her.

maybe with the new runeglaive it'll be good on eveEvelynn I used it on bruiserish kayle lately with nice results. item 3115 item 3726 item 3060 item 3146 item 3143 item 3111 (for boots mercs or mpen or armor depends on matchup or even attackspeed if too many as slows)

for now its mostly used on supports.

I still think it would be neat if Zeke's were remade into an AD Support gold generation item. Give the base component a decent GP/5 and bonus gold on kills/assists. Then combines with Brutalizer to make Zeke's, gives a -20 armor shred aura like Stark's Fury used to. It would be fun!

Banner is good, but not until mid-late if you are actually putting it to use with the active. Stats are fine, but you don't get it for the stats, you get it for the active. Is secret strong like Enosense, said.

Zeke's however is just not worth it, possibly ever.

Really expensive for an item that most likely won't ever be built on anyone but a support. There are better options for health and cdr with better other stats and uses. The lifesteal isn't that great as an aura unless you are running 100% ad team, which is bad in the tank meta. Most adcs will have their own life steal anyways.

Just can't see a good reason to buy it on Summoner's rift at the very least. Not cost efficient for supports given you have limited gold, and on most supports the life steal and extra ad are completely wasted as you are either a tank or an ap champ, or both.

Banner is command is being used in the LCS and i do see it in games.

As for zekes? yeah thats probably not worth it

I'll grab a zeke's if we're ahead and mostly AD, you'd be surprised how well it maintains a snowball. Also 20% cdr= yes plz.

Banner is actually being Used in the LCS if that's not to hard to believe. It's good for it's active component. But also for the Legion passive.

typically in the LCS, the Jungler is the one to get locket of the Iron solari, to help protect his team. But if a Locket or a banner can be picked up by the support, it frees up the Jungler to get more Greedy tank items. Which is really useful if the Jungler IS the teams tank.

Zeke's is the more problematic one. I sometimes get it on a Tank support to increase team sustain. But this only usually works if the Team is heavily AD. The Stats and the Aura itself is decent, Just Extremely niche.

Banner of Command is pretty good, but since every support there is has skills that utilize AP rather than AD, there is no reason for Zeke's Herald. ADCs and Tanky DPS won't build it because it provides no damage compared to other items. (And it's too expensive for the stats it gives you.)

Banner is in a very good spot actually.

Zeke´s could use less cdr and more health to really become fully viable...there´s just soo much CDR on supportive-aura items that most of the times you´d just overcap it by adding a zeke´s into your support-build.

I actually build both items a lot on nontank supports. Zeke's is very good if your team is almost all ad (i.e. xin or rek, or lee jungle, gnar or wukong top, zed mid). It's especially good against tanky teams since the lifesteal makes it hard for the tanks to get any kills and counters thornmail a little. Banner of command I mostly build on sona and janna in place of locket if I don't need the locket active. The promoted cannon minions are great mini-splitpushers if the enemy team is grouped as 5. 60 ap is much more valuable than the 200 health from locket in terms of gold efficiency, however the locket active can be really good against aoe teams.

Zekes needs a rework, Banner of Command is fine, just no one builds it because people don't know it's fine.

Any support that buys Zeke's Herald is basically buying an item that isn't useful for themselves. Every other support item (yes, even other crappy support items like Ardent Censor) has both stats the support can use and effect that the team can use.

Banner of Command is good, but no one uses it. It's extremely useful for pushing side lanes, especially against a heavy AP comp that can't kill the bannered minions quickly, but it's got a weird mix of stats that generally doesn't let it see a whole lot of play, and the effects of the item aren't too satisfying to use either as a support or a solo lane mage.
