My first explanation is just because Riot says it, doesn't mean Riot was able to code it. They also recently did changes to ranked, and I don't think I've ever seen Riot do anything without also breaking some stuff on the side.

I was just autofilled myself in a ranked promo series which isnt supposed to happen...You have an X across your kass which usually means LEAVER. Did you disconnect or AFK at any point in that game?
