Yeah It would be very useful But riot are busy with the upcoming vayne draven buffs and 900 RP leaver buster immunity
I agree. This would be pretty useful. It's very similar to Jhin's ult so I can see how this would be useful. <3
As a vel koz player I would rather not have anything change for it, I don't play locked in screen so it's not a problem for myself.

You do realize that when Jhin was released they looked into doing this for Vel and it was terrible. It made it worse actually. That's why it wasn't done.
I know people are thinking: "Well play in unlocked screen, duh!" Here's the issue. To MOVE the unlocked screen I must move my mouse and doing that in my ult will move the beam. Because of this, 3/10 or so of all my vel ult kills are done BLIND or by the map. PLEASE add this change!

Hell no. That would be awful. Can't stand playing jhin for that reason. Would ruin the champ for me and take away one of my main mid laners.

Yeah I mean it would be nice, but as stated in the past Vel'koz is one of those surprisingly balanced champions that most of us would prefer just remains untouched even for stuff like this.
He has to actually hit skill shots, is relevant when he does, but is immobile and yet a good team fighter.
Let Vel'koz be Vel'koz I say.
