I want to see my skins but there is not a easy way. My idea is a page at summoned profile with all your skins.

It's something they are considering on the new client, you don't have to wait much longer since the client is almost done 1/2 months max

Hextech Crafting gui looks a little regressive however. It's just my opinion, but the look of shards, font of texts in tabs of what to do seems rather too simple. On the other hand, I like the simplified icons of it and animations, so don't know why I dislike it when compared to the current Hextech gui.

I have a PBE account, some stuff has changed when they updated the PBE to v0.12 yesterday

The hextech Crafting tab now has all animations and sounds effects enabled;
They appear to have changed the text font?? in some areas of hextech crafting so they're listening;
Tutorial is now up for testing, custom games should be next (they want it for this patch aswel so hold on tight);
Clubs tab is stilll to be enabled, they are working on it as we speak and it looks good from what I've seen.

The hextech crafting font is something they will change for sure, most likely a placeholder while they decide what to use.

Also keep in mind this is a product in an alpha stage and what you see isn't final, If you have access to the PBE or have access to the live Alpha, please take some time to give them feedback on what you think should be improved.

I have the alpha client and thats the one feature i keep hoping to see appear when it updates every 2 weeks.

Indeed, I always look at the PBE to check what's new and if possible report any bugs I find.

You'll have to wait but not for much longer, the client is almost ready with all the stuff the current client has, after that they will put new stuff into it including a tab with owned skins.

I presume you got the Alpha client then? If so, could you tell me if we will finally get a rune-/masterypage sorting option? Also, I've seen some sneak peaks about more than 20 runepages in the new client - any hold in that?

EDIT: I saw your Alpha client screenpixie down below, and I must say the new client looks beautiful! And that's not a word I use lightly.

Yes you can push the runepages/mastery pages in what order you want! Unfortunatly for now you cannot have more than 20 rune/mastery pages, I assume It's because the old client is still being used and doesn't support more than 20 so if you switch back to the old client you would be missing pages.

What a relief! It's been so annoying having to resort to 3rd party software just to rearrange something that should've had such an option long ago. Not to mention the hassle of changing password after every use (both for that and the Elophant skin saving feature), just in case.

Another awesome feature that most people that heard about the alpha client don't know is the fact that there isn't a patcher anymore!

By this I mean when you double click the icon to open the client it goes straight to the login screen, and you can login while the game is patching. The progress bar will cover the play button, once the patch is done you can press the play button.

As you can see on the top left the game is patching while I'm on hextech crafting http://prnt.sc/cr3y1b (This was taken from the PBE v0.12)

Though it is starting to sound like a worryingly large amount of file relocations within the LoL install folder. Installing custom skins and mapmods is likely gonna take time before being possible to implement again. I had to wait 9 months with the new SR, I remember, for a new Beach Rift to be released.

Well, as long as the game.cfg aspect ratio "bug" is removed, I don't really care.

And btw...a Fizz skin highlighted in the pixieshot. I see what you did there. ^^

I must say I'd really like to get my hands on the Alpha client, because I'm the kind of guy who am able to break a seemingly perfect gamecode once I try hard enough.

Been poking around with game files and trying to either hack, crack or mod them for some years now, including exploring ingame/inmenu interactions in an active attempt to find flaws with their responsiveness and functionality. Had real fun with writing a whole new difficulty for Crysis 1 back when dat game was da coool.

Something completely different then: speaking of FIzz, I bought Void Fizz on sale once upon a time, and since then Cottontail Fizz has been released, and I recently got that in a Hextech chest...so now I wonder if it is wurf to unlock? I will have to watch some skin spotlights/reviews before making the final decision, but so far I'm set on unlocking it. Not that I play the champion; I just like having the nice/good skins. :)

Something doesn't feel quite right with that skin, I always play bad if I use Cottontail Fizz, same goes for Tundra Fizz and Void Fizz :/ it's like somehow I do less damage and go full monkey if I use any of those skins. On the other hand... Super Galaxy Fizz and Fisherman Fizz gives me godlike powers xD

I know that feeling! It's like with me and my choice of Lulu skin for any given match: if I pick Dragon Trainer Lulu, I'm just full-on "fun, fun, fun!", and I don't care if we lose. If I pick Winter Wonder Lulu, on the other hand, I'm usually not doing so well, I feel salty, and likely just insta-Alt+F4 on game end if we lose.

Could well be the skin itself, and how something in the back of my mind constantly reminds me that I did a hype-swallow, and wasted 975 RP on that skin. WW Lulu is lacking something, and while it got a recall animation (whereas DT Lulu doesn't), the Pix animations by comparison are so DULL!!

And it's the same with every Lulu skin released after - even SG Lulu. DT Lulu's Pix got a cute little challenging "in your face"-warcry, even with sound effects(!!) as a taunt. WW Lulu/SG Lulu's Pix just lazily flies in an upwards spiral before dropping. Nothing fancy, nothing fun, nothing purple, just boring.

If SG Lulu had unique animations for Pix, I'd buy it instantly. But as it is based off WW Lulu, with the same animations...not a chance!

PS: I would like a page in the client to show this. BUT I also want to be able to make a "skin wish list" that my friends can view. My friends and I give each other skins for birthdays and Christmas, so it'd be nice to see which ones they want so I can surprise them without asking them.

I upvoted this thread. I agree this would be a good idea.

Actually for that matter I just came up with another idea. In the RPG Path of Exile you have a special place called a hideout that you can use to upgrade your character's items and such. But whats cool about the hideout is that you can completely customize it with in-game objects and things to make it your own. They even had a competition once for who could create the coolest looking hideout.

How about something like a hideout for League? Like some way to hyper-customize your profile page. Maybe a Trophy Room button you can click on and it shows a room or something that you created yourself? Maybe you could put statues of your mains in that room and trophies from ranked seasons and framed pictures of skin splash screens on the walls and such.

I would love this tbh. I would get to see my pretty skins <3 I also think they should add this for gifting purposes. Make it so that you can see others skins that they have, (if your friends or whatever), so that they can't gift you a skin you have by mistake. Plus, display purposes are always fun :P
