A comprehensive list of my issues
Now before I start, I want to preface my comments by saying this isn't a post to troll and QQ about the game. This is giving my honest criticisms whilst leaving, in hopes that the game gets improved.
There are some serious things that have officially caused to me to leave the game, as it's just not fun anymore. They include:
1.) It feels like 90% of the game is decided in match making now. I basically feel like I'm gambling, like I'm playing a slot machine simulator. If the slot machine stops on good or even decent teammates, we win. If I'm the team that ends up with the horrible player, the intentional feeder, the flamer, or the troll,** GG**. It's gotten to the point where even when I go 17/3/13 as top lane, I can't even come close to carrying my team anymore. This game has become team dependent to a fault, and it's severely hurting the Solo Que experience, which is alienating the majority of players.
2.) Certain champs are just crazy imbalanced. I understand balancing a game is a lot more complicated than most people think and it truly is very hard, but this is just bad. There are certain champs that, if you see them picked in champ select, you can pretty much book it. This has also led to a severely small pool of acceptable champions to select, in a game where there is a massive amount of champions to play, which is supposed to be a big plus to the game. Look through the pools of champions used in Ranked and you will see a sad, sad constant of the same groups of champs. Certain champions have been entirely forgotten, and others rarely chosen. If you're going to roll out a new champ as often as you have been, you have to a better job at balancing.
3.) The Support in this game is absolutely awful. LoL is one of the most popular - if not the most popular - games in the world. There is no reason to have such an egregiously awful support system in place that is almost zero help whatsoever. I submitted a ticket about an issue, and it had been so long until I got a response that I had actually entirely forgotten about the problem. It was well over a week later that I received a response. I saw the email pop up on my phone and said, "huh?"
4.) Snowballing in this game is a huge issue. Once you mess up in your lane once or even, god forbid, twice, it becomes very, very hard to come back. This takes away a vital essence of every game. The _only _thing keeping the game fun at that point is the possibility of a comeback. Don't get me wrong, I've been a part of some awesome comebacks in this game, but they are so few and far between it hardly matters. The reason for the severely high difficulty in mounting a comeback in this game points back towards something I stated in problem #1. This game is severely team dependent to a fault, and the only way of mounting a serious comeback is if you can somehow rally your team mentally, emotionally, and physically, and coordinate on such a superbly rare level that you can create enemy mistakes and then also capitalize on them.
5.) Jungler and Mid lane are extremely important to your game's success, and no matter how good your other 3 positions are, if your mid and jg are just flat out bad, it's pretty much GG. I recently played a game where all other 3 positions were absolutely playing phenomenally, but our two most vital positions were playing mediocre at best, and we lost a game we should have **easily **won.
6.) Auto-fill is just, awful. It has good intentions but in all reality, it breaks the game. I was actually sort of in support of it, until I experienced how debilitating and flat out crushing it can be. It ruins the **entire **fun of the game. People play video games so they can do what they want to do. People choose who they want to be, what class they want to play, what style of combat they want to use, what they want their character to look like, what moral path they want to drive their character down, what loot they want to equip and sell, etc etc. This is no different for this video game. People choose a couple of positions that suit them. They pick positions they enjoy playing, and thus are better at playing (not just because they play it more often). When you implement a system like auto-fill, you're creating the possibility of the game taking the choice out of the player's hands. If you're playing Skyrim, WoW, whatever, and someone says "I want to be a mage!" and the game literally forces them to play a rogue, that is defeating the entire purpose of the game. If you have absolutely zero interest in playing the game that way, and the game forces you to, why would that be fun for you? Not to mention the skill-related aspects to it that contribute to the problems I've previously presented.
7.) Also, as a small side note: I'm not very educated on this matter at all, but it seems to be that those who have been winning numerous games in a row are thrown all on one team together, and those who have been losing numerous games in a row are thrown on the opposite team. I'm aware that in all games it just so happens sometimes that one teams gets **all **the superior players and the other gets **all **the inferior ones, rather than a somewhat healthy mix/shuffle. However in this game, it has been happening so insultingly often that there is almost no way it is just coincidence. When almost every time, **all **the superior players are placed on the same team together, there is something wrong. As I said, I'm not very educated on this particular topic, and this could just be my very unlucky experience, so I'll surrender to you guys on this one.
I'm sure I am missing things, I'm sure many will just interpret this whole thing as QQing and tell me to leave and shut up, and I'm sure this wasn't as eloquent as I wanted it to be. I just wanted to leave some of my thoughts, and also hear your guys'; in return, as I strongly contemplate uninstalling a game that I love, yet is just not fun for me anymore.
Thanks guys!

. It is a matter of if they are willing to sacrifice to have a better chance to be victorious. --- **I am a support main. I am biased about autofill because it doesn't effect me often because I am protected from playing support often.

7- As I said earlier. I do think that riot tries to balance the teams. Hot and cold streaks don't mean everything about a player. It is mainly their MMR that groups them together to try to even out the teams. Sure, sometimes there are unfair games, but even if the teams are even MMR wise it does not mean the lanes will go even. The support and JG of one team could be the higher MMR players but on the enemy team it could be the AD and Mid. This would give a greater chance of the latter team to have more carry potential because of the skill level of the players.
Solo queue, especially in lower elos, is just just spinning a wheel of chance. Who will get the feeders, afk, trolls, and smurfs.
