short story of graves

so last game i played i chose garen top vs emo, they counter with graves and swap llanes around (obv premade team) so anyway i go up lane before graves gets there and catch him offguard from the bush, i 1v1 him level 1 and get him to about 10%hp when i die, im like ok thats fine i know graves is strong. I instantly tp back expecting to kill him cuz he stayed he is about 10-15%hp now im full hp, i auto, e+dodge his q, auto. and boom im dead again. now im like ok a graves at 15% hp should not have been able to kill me at full hp in like 2seconds at level 2. so i take the walk of shame up to my tower right as the minion wave reaches it. im level 1 graves level 2, He tower dives me! tanks me and the tower and lives AT LEVEL 2!. broken af gg.
