Solution to ELO HELL and/or a Bad Team

What if when we lose a game, the amount of LP we lost is reduced when we win lane. The same can be applied vice versa, that is if you win the game, the amount of LP won is reduced if you lost lane. For example, if I lost the game and I were to lose 18 LP, but individually I did very well and won lane then I would only lose 10 LP. And the same way if we won the game and I were to get 20 LP, but I lost lane, so I would get like 10 or 12 LP.

The LP that you still lose is due to your inability to transfer your dominance to other lanes and snowball them and ultimately carry the game. So the LP that is gained/lost is divided into Individual Performance and Performance with Team.

If this system was introduced then we would need to find a way to detect who won lane as their is no official rule that decides that. I couldn't come up with a really good idea for this but any suggestions from you guys would be helpful. So my idea for this is that maybe at the average time at which the laning phase usually gets over, the Gold earned by the laners is compared, and accordingly decided who won lane. This is the best I could come up with but maybe someone else has a better idea for **detection of who won lane. **

Another thing is that people often switch roles unofficially in Champ Select, and the system won't know this. So to solve this issue, just like there you can trade champions, Riot can introduce a system where you can officially trade roles as well. And not only does that help the new system I'm explaining right now but also if we fill another role for someone else, we can get Auto Fill Protected the next time.

So the only drawback I can think of right now is the detection of who actually won lane. If we get a better idea for that then this system could probably work out.

If you felt the idea makes sense please upvote so that a larger part of the community can see it.

Edit: Since detecting who won lane doesn't seem like a good idea, what if the amount of LP reduced from your loss is based on your grade For example if you were to lose 20 LP but if your grade was A+ then you would lose like 10-15 LP. Also since grade depends on taking objectives as well,** people won't just play for KDA**, but will actively try to take objectives.

I would say no, this would be way to hard to implement, how would you make an algorithm that can figure out if you won the lane ? Its too much variables, not to mention ppl would just play for kda in that case.

Iprefer a fixed lp gain/lost + a value lp gain/lost based on mastery level u achieved that game. So a S- vote gives more/remove less lp than a C

Lane bullies that fall off.

Depends on what you would describe as "winning lane". A draven coming out on even terms With an ezreal is actually a huge win for draven.

This would also kinda be biased for people with crappy earlies, like tryndamere or cho-gath

The grading system is terrible and has no place in ranked
