Why can we still play rank? Ain't the season 9 ended? If I win in rank now or get to other rank does it mean anything ?

Same thing I want to wonder about. Right now, I am at 0lp Plat 4 with the demotion shield expiring. If I play ranked and get demoted now, what would happen? Will I get the plat rewards still?
Here's how it works:
Season 9 ranked is over, your final rank is determined. Even if you drop in rank, decay, or even climb in rank, you will still get the rewards from the rank you ended on november 19th. Playing ranked now does still affect your mmr, so let's say you were silver at the end of season 9, and climb to platinum in preseason (which is now), you will have platinum mmr but with only silver rewards.
