Best champ for not stealing kills

I've been getting my girlfriend into league, but she gets discouraged if she doesn't get a lot of kills in our bot games. What's more, if I accidentally steal a kill she get's even more discouraged. What would you recommend as the best champ for avoiding kill stealing, while still being able to babysit her? I've tried morg, but pool seems to always take the kill. She also likes to play caitlyn and katarina. She won't play a lane by herself, so I'm always with her.

Well, your gf will eventually have to learn not to worry about "ks" in pvp, but I understand her frustration since she's apparently new and it's AI.

I suggest Soraka Sona Lulu Nautilus Alistar Janna Braum

All relatively unlikely to take kills unless you purposely set out to do it (Morg's pool is kind of DoT, so avoid that). Poke them down, let her do the rest.

Sona You clearly don't know she's one of the best ks supports... One Q = "oops, I took your kill by accident!" Lulu If you can play passively, sit back, and just give out buffs/debuffs... It's really easy for me, but probably not for most people since they always spam E+Q in lane.

Everyone else is good.

Oh, I know Sona can KS like nobody's business. It takes a tempered player in order to utilize her and prevent that.

I figured she could just heal, poke when they're above 50%, and then stun them.

If you can prevent from stealing kills as Lulu, then you can probably prevent stealing kills as Sona. Does take some skill, especially for people who can't really support.

Yes, Alistar or Braum don't know how to kill anything (or die, for that matter.) And them being tank supports, you can take hits for her and stay in lane with her longer to help her. It's also nice to have a Braum / Vayne combo botlane, for when Braum Q's and Vayne lands three AA's. (Mega damage!)

The lowest damage output of the whole support class is Braum, so numerically he'd be the best. Second lowest is Sona with Taric in a close third.

Obviously, avoid artificial scalings like Lich Bane and other Spellblades or Echo which misleadingly lead players into thinking champions are doing damage that in reality is not their own, but rather the item's damage. These items are massive damage outputs.

Yup, that "crazy" base 40 damage that they both boast. Such hurt, many wow.

I think Emmy is referring to a thread I made a long whiles back. Admittedly, Sona's damage has since been nerfed even further. I think when I redid the numbers more recently, it was more of a toss-up between her and Braum for least damage, more-so than a battle for 2nd least.

Of course, to any logical-thinking person, all of this SHOULD be obvious after Sona's passive was nerfed 60%, Q nerfed 20%, aura removed and team-granted damage lowered by ~67%.

That would be Bard lol. He can barely kill anything even if he tries lol. Maybe Taric or Shen.

Avoiding securing kills is more about the order in which you rank skills and the items you purchase over anything else. On, say, Sona - you don't rank Valor first and purchase Sheen, you rank Perseverance first and get utility items without AP.

Janna is probably your safest bet though. You have the option of placing a lot of her kit's damage on someone besides yourself (her +50 AD steroid). And she's given me the most trouble with full AP adventures of any support. And hey - she's had a stupidly high win rate since forever and just came out of season 4 with a 85% win rate in worlds. If you can figure out how to force your lane partner to win with Janna when they have no idea what they're doing, imagine what that could translate to in ranked skillz :D

I...I should probably learn Janna well enough I use her instead of Sona. Sona All the 49% HP executes :,(

How about you just teach her that there's no such thing as "kill stealing"... if she doesn't understand that, tell her to go back to Call of Duty.

why are people so bloodthirsty? all of them want to kill, kill, kill, kill, dominate, dominate girls too, they too want to kill as much as possible i think that humanity is cursed
