What is happening with lanes nowadays? I swear this meta is not even fun anymore. You can only win if you have high burst mages or high burst assassins. I try so hard to play a wide variety of champs and I have found that only the really bursty champs are the only viable champs to play anymore. We are at the point where Veigar, LeBlanc, Kha'Zix, and Shaco can one shot tanks... Rito plz why

Don Scuoglio6 votesI have a bone to pick with Ornn specifically. I was playing Irelia top against Ornn, ran conqueror and resolve runes. I literally did no damage to him. The enemy playing Ornn gave me 10 seconds to just wail on him with all of my abilities. He turned around and 3 shot me. The most disgusting thing I've seen and been a part of in my League time. I had BoTRK and Tri Force and boots, couldn't buy anything else because I was dying too much even under turret.
But my god is he fun to play lol
S V 3 votesRiot, for a while, has been really controlling of what players should play and what champs should die out with their very selective patches. Rather than let the players make the meta and enjoy the game, they are trying to control what should be fun and what should only be used in ranked and competitive play. They have disregarded a lot of opinions from the player base in respect to what champs actually need a rework, skins, game modes. It's like science to them. They think whether or not they can instead of whether or not they should with their decisions for LoL's future.

Viktor is a tough one. His history is rough. It always seems like he is either ridiculously overbearing, or not really playable. I think his kit is just really hard to tune.

Yea they have 200 base life at level 18, but if they one shot someone before they can activate an ability, they could have 50 base life at level 18 and it wouldn't make a difference.
DU Baymax2 votesVeigar is actually not very good right now. The good mid laners are champions like leblanc, fizz, zed, zoe, ahri, etc. If a tank is getting one shot by a veigar it's because they're either building like a dunce, the veigar is stupid fed, or both.

The game is just so focused on damage that you don't get to enjoy the whole concept of fighting an enemy. Now a days you have to play something that has burst that would allow you to kill someone or you can watch yourself always die first if you can't kill them.
I hate that I am forced to play a bursty AP playstyle on my main champion, Varus. Because no other build is going to be as useful.
This game is becoming too depressing to play for me regardless if I win or loose. It feels like no other element in this game matters anymore (stratagy, utility, defense), if your champion doesn't have damage you're going to be irrelevant.
