Morgana's ult ability (R) question

Morgana I need an answer here. Whenever I am within proximity of enemy bots or champions and try to use Soul Shackles, it says " Can't use it yet!" I have more than enough mana to use it. If someone would be so kind to clarify this issue that would be great. Also, don't flame me. Any flaming and the wrath of the Fallen Angel shall bestow her will upon you. JK but I will report you.

You need to make sure that you are in range, hover ur mouse over the ability to view it's range.

I have not had any problems with morgana's ult so far.
