Am I the only one?

People have been asking to get rid of promos altogether for a long time now. This is a pretty decent half way point. It allows the "casual" tiers to be a bit more climbable, while keeping plat and above competetive.

This is literally only in place to make people feel good about themselves. They're not actually getting anywhere better. They're not going to be going up against stronger opponents. They are going up the ranks in name only. Think about it. If everyone is slowly crawling up the ranks, then their environment is not actually changing.

I can see it already. Below Gold 1 is considered nooblord, while Plat and above is where the players "that aren't trash" play.

This is a horrible inflation mechanic. It needs to go.

meh, 1 win. You still need to get one more win. I just hope this doesn't make too many people go to Teir 1 divisions only to fall again

The system is crap and they don't care; stop reinforcing their bad behavior by supporting the company.
