[idea/suggestion] Daily quests

Right now in League I find the ip rewards after first win to be very small too small especially for the amount of content League now has. However instead of a static increase I really would like to see daily quests added into the game.

These quests could be anything from dealing X damage to champions/structures to getting Y amount of kills/assists or z amount of cs or earn I amount of gold or J amount of dragons secured or K amount of barons. Some quests can be completed within a series of games where harder quests could be needed to be completed within a single game.

Rewards from Quests should primarily be ip but it would also be cool if there were some that could also give ip boosts or even the super rare hextech crafting gems.

What do you guys think and why do you think Riot hasn't implemented this idea?

This is an idea I had for a while and one I would like to see too. They could model it just like hearthstone does too where the goals are either to play as a certain champ (and maybe role in this case) and to go for particular objectives and milestones.

The only thing, however, is that riot needs to be careful not to make challenges that promote selfish play (such as getting the most kills in a game) but rather things that contribute to the team like taking a turret and taking part in at least half of the team kills.

Also double ip weekends would be awesome to promote playing the game

Pretty sure they haven't implemented something like this because it promotes selfish play...? I guess it depends on the actual quest. It could create messy games where people all try to KS or steal farm from each other to get the rewards.

I do like the idea of quests, but it would have to be designed carefully.

Or if they could bring back some bonus-IP weekend events every so often. (NOT just for playing in premades...)

I think it would be great

Example:

Kill 1000 minions and monsters today = 500ip or 250ip Secure 5 dragons in a single game = 1000ip

the only problem with this is that people will prioritize the contract over winning. (if its gold they will KS and tax even after full build, if drake they will suicide for attempted drake steals when its a bad idea to do so)

And if you play dynamic queue, maybe special quests for your role? Supports have healing/shields, cc, and assists. Marksmen have towers destroyed, kills, and CS. Tanks could have damage taken and cc, while mages have damage dealt or other statistics.

I think it would be cool if they gave you Chest's and Key's too in general, that way it feels more rewarding (because IP is useless to most people) but that of course getting those would require you complete the harder quests.
