Please help, can't get out of silver!

scrub b5 player - Summoner Stats - League of Legends

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right board for this but I am about at my wits end, I am having the worst time floating between s1-s3, i cant seem to break past s1 50ish lp, I'm not entirely sure what I am doing wrong either, I am an adc main and i mainly play with my girlfriend as a duo, my champ pool consists mainly of trist,twitch and mf, I keep winning and losing over and over and staying stagnant, the past 3 days I have invested 5+ hours each day and stayed completely stagnant, winning and then losing over and over and at this point im a little discouraged, I know there are some games that are just unwinnable, but i feel if i can improve my own play and mechanics and knowledge i will notice myself climb, for the life of me I haven't seen it happen yet but I'm still plugging away to get better, is there anyone here that can help me out maybe point something out that they see wrong? Or just give any criticism to help me improve? I posted my op.gg to this discussion so you can see all my games! Please help I'm tilted and just want to get better.

in my experience, to consistently climb you have to generate advantage on your own accord - in this case with your duo. You can't just take kills, and play every interaction 'correctly', but also attempt to hinder your opponent, usually through rotations or denying their lane presence. I think a lot of your games are indeed winnable, they probably just lack someone leading the team's pressure. I find a lot of games at silver elo lack pressure in lanes past laning phase, they just play through reaction to what the enemy team's doing/skirmishes. Smurfs usually just win through picking up a champion that can get big and split push all day because the enemy team lacks rotation knowledge.

first season and only 40 ranked games isnt what I would call being stuck in silver.

ur positioning may be off, you die too much, stay with support, dont go in, dont start using ur weapon for melee combat, its a gun for a reason. basic things rlly.

Dunno how people are hitting double digit deaths but that shouldn't be happening ever, out of my last 30 games the most ive died was 6 times and that was accompanied by 14-15 kills and 44+ mins into the game. Where as a lot of your games are around 30m. First and foremost above anything else you NEED to stop dying so much. You team will have an extremely hard time overcoming that if bot lane gets fed. Even if your support is feeding you do not need to join them and sometimes you do get tented by the jg and mid however at worse you should still only be coming out of that lane with 2-3 deaths.

Thank you guys for all the feedback i'll try to apply it next few games I play and see how I do, this isn't my main account I made this in order to try and climb out I have over 300+ games in silver on my main account, definitely hard stuck because I'm bad.. But I will definitely work on the above mentioned stuff, are the champs I'm playing okay? should I be picking a more aggressive early adc? I feel like I just get out scaled a lot.
