Remember when we all wanted Mord reworked into a Bruiser Support?

Good thing he isn't a support, but in fact a carry.

I'm not saying it's a good rework (though I personally enjoy it) but he was not intended to be a support and he would be horrible in the support position by far.

Lol, how is this getting upvoted when Mordekaiser wasn't designed to be a support and isn't expected to go there. Did people just see a thread complaining about him and decide to upvote regardless of the content or logic? The circlejerk is real.

I think the whole problem is there. -A juggernaut that can take the place of an ADC is a good idea, it's new, and it broadens the horizon. -Triple mace hit with increased damage each hit, shield that needs an ally... Those are weird ideas, but it's fun, CertainlyT knows how to make fun concepts. Balanced or not, they're fun to use. -Phantom dragon, eeh.

That's not so bad on paper, but the problem is the use of Mordekaiser.

Mordekaiser was an AP mage, often playing alone, with excellent pushing power. That's what the players of Mordekaiser want to play.

CertainlyT should have made a whole new champion, a brand new juggernaut. A new champion attracts a new playerbase. Here, on top of Morde being unbalanced because he's "new", the players of the old Morde are sad.

Yeah,because wan't made into a bruiser support.He was just made into a bruiser that should be played WITH a support. Now,did people want that?Probably not.

Mordekaiser support probably doesn't work.

Idk why people think hes the ADC replacement now, I frankly love support morde... (having a great jungler get pet dragons really is awesome when it comes to getting your adc or yourself fed)

Bruiser, yes. Support, no.

That being said, I don't see him as a support. I don't love the rework as-is and wish W could be usable in some manner in a solo lane, but I do like that Morde is focused into being a melee wall of pain now.

The saddest part of this is that they said they want to retain his theme of unstoppable juggernaut that deals tons of damage when he gets in your face but has no tools to get in your face. Then, with the rework, they force you into a role where you have to have someone hold your frickin hand. >.< I'm just upset I can't play solo mord anymore, he was my go to champ with my friends because he was so fun. I truly do hate him now, been contemplating the last 3 days what champ I might enjoy playing from now on and I am at a stand still, not that riot cares.
