Unfair game

I just had a rank game however i dont understand why most of the game around iron to gold's mma are so messed up, for example i just had a rank game however I had an iron 1 cait and 3 silver team memeber while the enemy had all silver 2-3 player. Which to me is really unreasonable as it is basically a game of luck, Can it atleast be only 1 subdivision apart instead of jumping 2 entire division.
