Soo I'm kinda on tilt, so there I was in the top lane Rivan Riven when I get matched up to a morde Mordekaiser and I was doing alright at the start jung ganked early was winning the lane beating him in CS. Things were alright all of sudden he started half hitting my health and ultimately started losing lane and team fights cause you could do any dmg to him. soo I thought to my self hey il try another game with gnar Gnar same thing adc morde destroying everything in sight. I think its time riot nerfed this completely over powered champion!

Yeah but if your up close and personal its kinda hard because his range is pretty hard to deal with for people in the lower elo

It's intresting what you say.

As a Morde player, I can tell you that in Mordekaiser's current state, his strengths(his Q) and his weaknesses(LACK OF SHIELD!! And cc of every form) have been amplified. And honestly, the heal from w is very small, and is smaller due to self-inflicted damage.

When playing against Mordekaiser, heavy cc always wins, unless Morde has enough shield to withstand damage. This is difficult to accomplish given Mordekaiser's shield decay, plus incoming damage. As a result, a strong build on an enemy Mordekaiser could be: a tanky DPS item early, such as The Black Cleaver, and than Frozen Mallet later paired with Blade of the Ruined King and a Rabbadon's later for AP boost(situational slot, you know). Don't forget to increase movement speed along the way--- slap on your boots and grab a Dead Man's! ;)

Anyways, watch Mordekaisers shield. Back off and watch it degenerate, be sure to time his abilities on screen. Go in and deal damage when his shields are low enough that with your own, you can penetrate the shield and deal a lotof damage on his health bar. Remember, Morde is SHISHY when his abilities are on cooldown and shield has decayed.) It's important to size up your laning opponents CDs are. They may use CDR to maximize shield generation and damage, so time the openings and attack accordingly. Remember, speed beats Mordekaiser. Or, damage from long range. There is nothing Mordekaiser can do about that, especcialy when cc'd at all. Deny Morde farm. For example, one may counter Morde and Friends with a yasuo and hiemerdinger bot lane. Hiemer's turrets not only deny Mordekaiser's farm, but Hiemer's skillshot can hit hard. Morde must take it, without being in range to do anything most of the time. Yasuo is more to outclass Mordekaiser with speed, constant dashes, plus crits, PLUS CC. Yasuo stomps Mordekaiser, ESPECIALLY with a long range sustained damage support, like Hiemerdinger. It may seem like odd picks for bot lane, but I'm positive it would work. Yasuo and Hiem just need to ward for faster intel to avoid ganks.

Plus, try playing a champion you struggle against the most, and learn its' kit so you know it's strengths and weaknesses. That way, you know the weaknesses of said champion, and exploit them using a diffrent champion. If Mordekaiser ults you, flash out. It's best that your cursed champion not die, as you want to denying him of stealing a soul(remember to watch for ganks).

Kill Morde early. Deny Morde farm with range damage. Movement Speed beats Morde. Cc beats Morde. Burst damage beats Morde.

So don't nerf Morde, just learn how he works. That will help you so much for counter play.

Plus, Riven is squishy and has minimal shield except for e. Mordekaiser can punish her if she decides to come in for q-AA damage with E for shield, than Q for just a little more shield. Obviously Riven's damage will penetrate the shield very easily, buy Riven is just too squishy to be around Mordekaiser for too long, as he will q you. It creates a type of burst damage if you stay withing range before it deactivates. Like I said, timing and feeling out the opponeny.

Gnar, well I kill him easily early on with Olaf, so a skilled Mordekaiser can get Gnar, if Morde runs Move Speed to dodge poke. Lots of movespeed, lol. I'd suggest DMP and Black Cleaver with tier 2 boots for Mordekaiser for sustained damage and health, while also upping movespeed and health to negate health hosts as much as possible.
