Is it just me or is everyone getting lags after updating to Patch 5.23? And by that I mean both client lags as well as a ping spike. My normal ping should be within the range of 215 - 275 but now its steadily at 615 - 675. Also the client takes longer to respond now. Could someone give me some answers??
I'm using LoL for Mac with a 2.5 Ghz Processor, 8GB RAM and 2GB Graphics My internet speed is about 30 Mbps+ and doesn't lag.
Dulce Dama2 votesHonestly my ping is fine and everything else is fine but it lags in a different way..like If i press an ability for some reason sometimes it takes a couple of moments a second or two for the ability to activate.
TeemoJenkins1 votesI use a PC, but in 5.23 I notice frame drops when doing PVP, if I'm in a bot game - no lag, it's bizarre.
Steelflame1 votesI've been getting more spikes than normal for me, about 3x as many, going from my usual 40-50 to 500-600. This can pretty much hard shut me down at times.
dr0ffig1 votesYeah I'm fine for most of the game 40-60 ping and then all of a sudden i'll spike anywhere from 200-2000 ping, between 5-20x per game. It has got to be the patch. Its not like I changed anything on my end.

GenghisEmo1 votesit stutters a lot. And there are times where servers kick everyone out (everyone disconnects at same time), or they go out one at a time.
FPS cuts or gets a bit chaotic just before people disconnect. And Ping can spike when near a person with crappy connection, then you back from them and FPS and Ping get good XD, and things get more stable when they dc.

GEIMOS1 votesi am having this same problem ping 26 most of the game then it spikes well over 500 often only recovering after i restart the game i did a speed test at the same time and got 1ms ping 26mps download and 4mps upload often the ping indicator will freeze at its last ping most often 28ms but have a 30 second delay that wont go away
trixn861 votesI use the mac client on EUW and since 5.23 patch i got terrible spikes in my Ping. Usually at the beginning the ping is in a normal range (for me 30-50 over wifi) and after 1 or 2 minutes it starts to jump up to about 400-500 for several seconds then slowly normalize again. This repeats over and over every few seconds. It's just unplayable like this. Movement and spells sometimes need 1 or 2 seconds to react. U can not land any skill shot, u can not farm and u can not dodge anything. This issue appeared right after the new patch was released and i did not change anything on my own configuration so i'm quite sure, that this is related to the patch. Did anyone else discover the same problems, especially on the mac client ?
Riot please fix this fast !!!!!!!!!! Game is unplayable like this !!!
DoctorWolf181 votesI am using a pc and yeah it either shoots up for no reason. Or it just stops then resumes whenever it wants but i notice the ping never shoots up.
GEIMOS1 votesi uninstalled the game restart my pc then reinstalled it seams to of stopped save your weapon sets if you try this and say no when it asks to reset you masteries edit it came back after 10 games or so

Fejjbää1 votesNo lag for me until 02 of December, since then it has lagged all the time with lag spikes up to 2000 ping during the whole game. This is so annoying and it stops me from enjoying this game, fix this asap

INC Darkness1 votesSince patch 5.23 I have a 60ping in most of the games, especially after 2pm CET. My normal ping is around 33ms, so it's almost the double. Sure it's not THAT big, but it definitely isn't nice at all. Any help ??
