Failure to communicate: a discussion

So I will leave out my opinions on ways of fixing this issue, but I want to present it to the community for discussion for several reasons. The ping system doesn't not work pre, IDK. The best player I know personally is mid gold so top 15% of ranked players, and still complains about the fact that they will get a triple kill but the enemies assassin just came up and only 1 person is pushing mid. She will ping for that person to back like 5 times, ping to take dragon cuz her teammates can back it. But the guy just pushes into their (Zedd/jax/yasuo) and her teammates go farm side lanes, and they lose any pressure anywhere. This has been entirely my experience with, IDk 2200 games, and I know that I'm low silver cuz my mechanics are subpar, but in a team game their should be an advantage to game understanding and theory over slightly better mechanical players, which doesn't exist because the vast IMO 85% at least, of players don't pay attention to smart pings (litterally I have pinged someone back 10 times and they died 3 minutes later where I told them to leave). Whats your opinion. Because in my experience most losses happen not because someone fed in lane, but because someone who was slightly behind refused to listen to anyone who told him how to catch up.
