Ranked Vs Normals

I have been playing this game since 2011. I have a lot of fun with this game or should I say, I have a lot of fun when I play normals. Ranked is a different beast. Ranked is not fun. Ranked is so toxic, my grandchildren will die of cancer. This isn't a thread about how I'm stuck in Bronze V (I am Bronze 5 by the way), I realize I'm not that great at this game. One look at my match history will tell you that. What I want to know is why is that when I play normals I am matched up with much better behaved players as opposed to ranked. What is it about ranked that makes people so freaking infuriating. This is a team game for crying out loud and when I'm in ranked team work is not a priority. Seriously, what gives?

one mode is competitive and the other isn't? one mode is for you actually trying to win while the other is more laid back? this isn't rocket science you know?

Ranked is filled with tryhards because it's for tryhards. Normals are meant to be fun (and thus I play better in normals. Not much pressure).

I have friends across the silver and bronze ranged who mainly play normals. It's the better form of league imo.
