Smurf Prevention System?

Riot, I was curious to see if anyone from the team was developing an Anti-Smurf Prevention System? I notice in Bronze - especially at this time of night. I've been going up against Smurf after Smurf after Smurf; Who love bragging about their "plat main / Gold main" when they win a game of aspiring players who can't climb because of their lack of knowledge/skill vs those who are highly more skilled.

I remember "ELO-Hell" Back in the days was also filled with smurfs. The new rank system helps, but there is still such a vast environment of smurfs in the bronze league/silver league. Are there currently any staff ideas or programs that are seriously being thought about to help this issue.

I would greatly appreciate a reply on this one - Thank you.

Everyone lies about having a plat gold main.

But smurphing also makes alot of money for riot.

Some people I've heard said they put like 300 dollars on their new smurph accounts. Imagine what other people waste their money on, new skins etc etc. It's good money.

The only way to stop smurphing, is to increase the minimum games played requirement to enter ranked in the first place.

If you're a smurf and win all your games, your MMR goes up very quickly. Even if you dodged all your promos to stay in Bronze, you'd still be playing Gold+ players before long.

People get banned for feeding games. Dodging placement matches and losing games to get placed in a lower bracket also gets people banned. That's why streamers moved to "Unranked to Challenger" instead of "Bronze to Challenger".

It's the last 2 weeks of the season, everyone is on edge. Most smurfs are most likely fake.
