Gangplank's Return

Dear Riot Games

I would like this summer events with Gangplank to continue. It would be nice if it would achieve an event "Gangplank's Revenge" or something like that! Because, if you think about it that big an event was conducted two years ago. I know you realize now an event Piltover and Zaun (or you already done) does not matter, it would be nice to return a little of the old days

                                                                                                                                -First From Bunica44

P.S:Hecarim Gangplank are still overpowered do something with them. Good job btw , you're one of the biggest companies that didn't lost it's game after 5 years ! <3 :* Ahri loves you :D*[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]*

gangplank is not overpowered unless you fucked up and let the game run its course to late game then it becomes entirely your own fault.

gangplank functions much in the same way as ryze. They aren't as pick up and go as forum assholes make them out to be, they require good mechanics to function at an even average level.

He is overpowered and even playing bad, you can get nice win rate. Do not fool yourself, he might be hard in lower elo but he is just average in higher and compering him to ryze is bs. Ryze has lot of combos while GP has 3: Q Q+E E+E+Q

yeah I should have probably mentioned i was referring exclusively to low ELO bronze+silver which constitutes ~80% of the player base where people barely have mechanics. low ELO accounts for the majority of ryze's abysmal 43% winrate.

And Im refering to plat + because that is where you can say something about balance. Silvers and bronzes just don't know often how to play champion or against champion but it doesn't mean that it is hard or easy to play.

Also I didn't say that ryze is op or easy to play, I was only talking about GP.

I have to strongly disagree that GP is overpowered. He has probably the most opportunities for counterplay in his kit that any champ I can think of off the top of my head, especially compared to other "hypercarries." His ult probably does lack counterplay, but it actually is quite weak until you get your first upgrade and once they change thunderlords so it doesn't proc on his ult it will be even weaker.

I don't know how people are gonna complain that a barrel does like 75% of their health when he has to use (normally) 3 abilities to pull it off (e+e+q, plus waiting for e to tick down and getting the timing on the Q right), has to position very carefully to land it on carries, and has the opportunity for 95% of his damage to be negated if the enemy detonates the barrel before he can. Not only that but he's usually hoping for a crit as well (lategame there might be up to a 50% chance of no crit depending on the build).

When people complain GP is broken I highly doubt they have a lot of experience playing him and knowing that it is actually quite difficult to be effective with him. I mean maybe in Bronze and Silver he's "OP" because people can't dodge anything and may not even be conscious of the fact that you can attack barrels, but then again low elo considers half of the champs to be broken.

In bronze or Silver he might be hard to play but in p+ he is not. He can easly kill you without barrels and that is what hurts me the most. You can be good with him and win but you can also just play him and still have great impact. He is rewarding good players but does not punish bad ones at all. And Imo 75% of my hp plus another 25% with his aa which is not hard to land with bonus ms and slow on enemy is problem. Im not saying that he is op and hard only for bad players, well, actually I do.
