Some of us have busy lives and try to schedule what free time we have. Every time I log on and see scheduled maintenance, I'm shocked. I played a game last night and saw no messages about this. Where's the schedule? Why aren't players notified beforehand?

People who pay for a subscription to play their game (e.g. World of Warcraft) are entitled to having regular patch-cycles and notifications in advance.
People who play for free (and no, RP doesn't count, no one forces you to buy them) are entitled to take what they are given, and be grateful for it.
Rule of thumb is that a patch will probably happen every 2-3 weeks on a wednesday (Thurs this time because memorial day took up Monday)
Also surrender @ 20 usually has the time for maintenance 2 or so days prior with the patch notes 1 day prior.
also if you bookmark there server maintenance page...this was actually set to happen they posted it...what? Tuesday? they usually do...you just have to look at you know..the server statues..
I don't care really as to what they are doing. I just want to play. Maybe adding a countdown timer would be better.
