why nurf soraka?

soraka is already a really squishy champ to play with yet you nurf her Q again removing spell vamp capabilities again. not being able to heal herself mid battle removing spell vamp items that basically help her compensate for her lack of damage abilities who was the genius anyway to stray from the original version where she could give mana heal properly now shes the less used champ thanks to your " upgrades" she used to be able to hold a line now leave her and the creeps will just eat away her hp especially for the aram maps.

what do you mean ? i jumped immediatelly to PBE changes to see if they nerfed her but they didnt. I know that Soraka is but a shadow of what she used to be pre-season-6 with her 950 range on Q, massive heal if she hit 2-3 enemies. also insane heal on her W and more than twice lower mana cost. but at the end of the day soraka is actually still pretty fine. i managed to climb with soraka to diamond IV, so she's fine, but more challenging to play with :)

I think he just came back and seen the mage item changes. As in the no more spell vamp thing and all that.

Honestly, they should stop treating sorraka like irellia. It's no longer better nerf irellia. Tanks dying off, better nerf sorraka, adc's not needing nearly as much health, better nerf sorraka, sorraka is the worst champion, better nerf sorraka. Thats what it's like. She is a textbook irellian champion. The reason you don't see her is she is the most boring support and probably the most boring champion in the game. I'd actually script with her just so I can play tf2 while the script just afk heals the ADC although I wontake it have like an aimbot since she will just need to heal people. That's how brain-dead and borring she is. You just spam heal and the occasional starcall. If you want to see op, look at league of legends og sorraka. Original gangsta. Starcall was on an aimbot and reduced Mr and had an eve q cool down and she could heal herself. I think her science and ult were the same.

Soraka is still in a strong state and possibly the best state she has been in since before ANY of the changes to healing were made in season 1. Relax she is still viable and VERY VERY VERY strong.

Soraka is in the worst spot possible since her 4.17 rework. S6 brought back executioner's calling and riot did not revert her 5.24 R nerf when making GW affect all healing again. It all means that Soraka becomes trash tier the time anyone on enemy buys Executioner's Calling which is absurdly cheap (800 gold...) and gold efficient.

Someone isn't keeping up with news then. People all over are saying how strong sustain supps are in ranked/SR games. She is the best of all sustain supps with her strong ability to keep her ADC in lane and still be aggressive. Her peel isn't the best and her ULT is still strong if you know how to build properly. I mean negating 500 damage to your entire team all over the map isn't horrible. Sure she can't 100% heal everyone like she use to be able to do in season 1/2 but christ she was insanely powerful back then and had no counter.

Also executioner is back, sure, but no one wants to add it to their build, i do because i love it on ashe, but most won't get it and will pick another item over it, or when they see one already on the team ignore buying it. They still do this up in the low high elo some times as they have forgot it exists again.

The fact she has been above 50% winrate the entire time season six has been around should point out how strong she is atm.

Just look again, she is in such a strong state win wise and kit wise. I mean christ.. what was she before her rework? 70% winrate? 100%? What do people want her to be at now?? Isn't 54% enough??

ULT is still strong if you know how to build properly.

What... her ult will also always be reduced by 40% by GW no matter what you build or what you do.

Also executioner is back, sure, but no one wants to add it to their build,

That is the problem, it is literally never built in plat or below. the only elo i saw it built (I would say... oberbuilt...) is high diamond and master+, it is often just rushed after ADC's first recall as a super cheap and no brainer way to win the lane. I am having it built against me in about 8 out of 10 games in ranked, about 7 of those games are enemy ADCs buying execall after first recall in lane. Multiple executioner's callings in enemy team are not rare occurances for me (and yes, I am usually the only one countered by GW in my team). I have had Illaoi (because her ADC did not, she said that herself), full tank Gnar and full tank Rek'sai build it (both Gnar and Rek were in the same game) against me. If you need proof just check my match history.

My main issue is only execall, it scales too well into late game for its cost, is so abusable with any AoE/multi target PhD abilities and leaves Soraka no chance for unreduced heals during any fight with that enemy with execall present. GW feels like appearing out of blue sky (it takes just scratch of e.g. Sivir's W, Cait's Q, Twitch's R to apply GW at full strength) and gives no windows of opportunity.

I would be fine with Ignite, Morellonomicon (the GW from that lasts 8 seconds for no reason at all though...) and even Kata's R (I thought riot wanted to remove GW from champs' abilites) but I just can not stand Execall.

If ppl actually started building execall her winrate would drop by like 3-4% no joke.

Ugh no point even writing a comment. You are set in your thoughts.

Just play differently once they get exe. That's all i feel like explaining now.. or maybe change champ pick.

Im not sure how people feel about her heals overall, but beside the CD, i find soraka more effective with her sustain than soraka is. ( i made a bit of the math)

AOE shield+heal>Soraka Heal

mana based cost>health+mana cost

only thing that make soraka a tiny bit better is the ult heal and CD. but sona can solve that later on in the game easily.
