I don't get the player in ranked

i am a bronze 2 adc main who has been playing for a little less than a year. The players I go against and are teamed up with have no common sense. I'm pretty sure League is one of the few games I have played where low ranked players can't understand basic situations. For example, 4v5 teamfights. The common thing is don't engage if you don't have your full team. yet some random teammate goes in and starts one. I just don't get the League player base. How do they function in everyday life not understanding basic math and analysis of situations. Even in lane, I have had situations where my support randomly engages at us being low health and then gets mad at me for not following up when I am backing already. This elo surprises me everytime I play and when I get a decent team, it a godsend. I don't League is a whole another world compared to some of the competitive moba games I have played.
