With the new Garen changes I'm wondering if somebody can clarify exactly how his ability (Courage) will work with CC? The ability gives 60% Tenacity, but I'm unable to find any clarification on whether using it after a snare (i.e Morgana Bind) will reduce the duration or not. Thanks ahead of time for replies.

As I understand it, it should decrease the duration of the CC if activated while the CC is in effect.
Kind of a moot point though, because Garen wants that sweet sweet 60% DR.
Darkdemon6531 votesI suppose I can't say with 100% certainty as I haven't tested it, but no, changes in tenacity will not affect already-applied effects.
LegenDariusGaren1 votesI have tested this on practice tool. Here is how it works, you need to press W before something like whither. If you press it during the whither, then it will apply the full duration. Furthermore, you cannot press W if you are stunned, so it makes no sense for it to work during.
