Queue dodge penalties too steep

Currently, first dodge is a 5 min ban, and the second dodge is a 30 min ban.

Personally, I'm still having trouble adjusting from the old champ select where you don't need to lock in, or how it pops up on your screen when it's time to ban, and time to pick. I think there should be something like 1 excused queue dodge, maybe just for players who don't get reported often or players who haven't been penalized.

The first penalty is annoying, but the second is almost a full game's time. Maybe the point is to keep a toxic player from playing again until they've cooled off, but I think its a very steep penalty. My first reaction when I saw it was, "I guess I'm done for today..."

I've played for two years and the old champ select is still what feels natural. I'm sure I'll change eventually, but I can't be the only one with this problem. Maybe Riot could implement something in settings where we could set on/off locking in at the end of the timer, and having the window pop up.

I agree that Riot failed with the new champ select (which would never happen if Riot was capable of having a test environment) See Riot just tests for bugs they don't test for users. (insert one of the large problems with the system today)

They won't change it the dodge penalty. But they do need to change the system to be more "notification and alert friendly".
